Duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager to include;

 

Lead Generation

  • Introducing corporate products to prospective clients through telephone, email and social media activity
  • Generating leads and contacting decision makers to book telephone, online and in-person meetings for the Sales Managers
  • Researching and pre-qualifying sales opportunities and potential leads, utilising Saleforce to generate further new business opportunities
  • Attending with the Sales Managers to further understand current demands of prospective clients
  • Building positive relationships and creating brand awareness to facilitate ongoing contact with prospective clients who are not ready ‘now’


Marketing Campaigns

  • Providing ideas for marketing campaigns and supporting the creation of lead generating materials that promote brand awareness to maximise sales opportunities
  • Working with Sales Managers to put together targeted telephone and email campaigns to specific sectors about particular subjects, providing feedback on successes and failures
  • Achieving targets for leads generated and meetings booked and delivering monthly reports

 

Events Management

  • Planning and delivering webinar and live events on behalf of the Workplace Solutions team
  • Leading idea generation forums to determine event content and propose speakers from across the business
  • Planning and setting event objectives and supporting the creation of event presentation slides, marketing materials and give-aways
  • Targeting and booking of delegates to attend events through telephone, email and social media channels
  • Setting post-event objectives and activities to generate follow-up meetings for the Sales Managers
     

Due to the nature of this Business Development Manager role, excellent communication skills and super organisational skills are required.  While previous experience within telemarketing, marketing and/or events would be ideal but if you are ambitious and motivated, resilient and confident, and this role sounds of interest then please also apply!

Our client, a boutique executive search and consultancy firm, works with an enviable selection of national and international blue-chip and corporate clients across several practices/specialisms.  Due to their ongoing success and planned growth, we are looking for a Head of Talent to work closely with their CEO to attract the very best talent available.

The Head of Talent will become the face of the business externally and will be a strong network builder.  You’ll work to ensure a pipeline of the markets best talent whilst also working internally, to induct, manage, develop, and retain the team.

 

Responsibilities include;

  • Supporting the firm’s growth plan through external recruitment and internal development
  • Responsible for the hiring of entry-level candidates to participate in their internal Associate Development Programme
  • Managing relationships with preferred recruitment agencies
  • Developing relationships with external organisations, such as Universities, Sporting Institutions, Ex-Forces etc, and attracting direct candidates from these
  • Organising internal staff workshops and external staff development and training
  • Reporting to the Managing Partner, CEO

 

Experience needed:-

  • A strong recruitment background, ideally gained across both agency and in-house roles
  • Experience of working with senior board members and multiple stakeholders
  • Emotional intelligence and a keen drive to achieve
  • Proven networking ability
