We’re looking for a well organised, team player to join a thriving local company in Yate.  It’s a great opportunity to join a well-established team in a varied and interesting job role. There's parking onsite and a competitive salary / benefits package.

Taking responsibility for the purchase ledger and other accounts duties, you’ll work as a fundamental part of a small team – assisting each others’ job duties when needed.

The role will include:-

  • Receiving and checking all purchase invoices, recording on to the system and passing for payment
  • Matching orders, delivery notes and invoices, accurately inputting all information on to Sage 200
  • Reconciling monthly statements, resolving any queries and missing items
  • Liaising with suppliers via telephone and email to resolve queries
  • Preparing supplier payments
  • Assisting with the general administrative duties within the office, handling telephone queries and advising visitors to the office

You’ll have worked in an accounts role before and will be a confident user of Excel.  You’ll have a keen eye for detail and a flair for numeracy.  Sage experience is of course beneficial.
