This is a fantastic role within a financial services organisation for someone with previous experience or a relevant degree to develop their skills. You will be joining our client’s friendly team to support with the smooth running of the Accounts Department.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be analysing financial accounts and preparing accurate reports to ensure the successful management day to day processes.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you have proven experience in a similar role, and/or a relevant qualification. You must also have strong IT skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, are required for this role.

Daily duties will include:

  • Preparing various billing reports for external clients
  • Processing commission payments to dealers
  • Handling a range of enquiries
  • Authorising credit notes as required
  • Responsible for overhead invoice coding
  • Dealing with month-end tasks such as accruals and pre-payments
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Importing invoices and credits to the Sales and Purchase Ledgers
  • Reconciling and analysing Profit and Loss or Balance Sheet Nominal Accounts
  • Supporting the team with duties as needed
