An exciting opportunity has been created within the finance department of our key client – based in North Bristol. Working in the Treasury & Projects Team – the role will include duties related to Cashflow, Financial Reporting, Funding and Interest Rates and will allow the job holder a real variety of responsibilities.
Applicants must have previous relevant experience, gained within Financial Services coupled with strong Excel skills, experience of managing sizeable datasets and working knowledge of VBA/SQL and SAS.
Ideally you’ll also be educated to degree level within a relevant subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting projects across the finance function through the development and maintenance of spreadsheets and reports using SAS, VBA and SQL
- Interrogating large datasets and using findings to inform strategy
- Ad hoc modelling tasks
- Administration of, and monthly / quarterly reporting on Funding schemes
- Production of the monthly management information reports and reports to both UK and International Stakeholders
- Creation of ad-hoc tailored reports to support requests from within the business
- Updating the daily cashflow spreadsheet and subsequent monitoring of cashflow, making amendments where appropriate
- Oversight of Interest rates and ensuring they remain at the appropriate levels
