Home based after 2-3 weeks of training in the Stockport office!

Please note: this role requires previous motor claims/claims experience.

Our client is recruiting for a Claims Handler to join their busy but friendly team. This is an exciting role that offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work from home after completing just a few weeks of training! You can even look forward to a shorter week, as the company is working towards a 4-day work week trial.

As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the first party claim, taking ownership of the case from start to finish. Other daily duties will include:

  • Obtaining version of events and supporting documents
  • Accurately deciding on liability
  • Ensuring the claim is fully prepared for all future stages
  • Utilising appropriate resources and claims service provisions
  • Working towards personal and team goals
  • Ensuring compliance with company processes and policies

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a high-quality service in line with company values. For this role, you will also need:

  • Previous claims experience
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to achieve personal targets
