This Trainee Recruitment Administrator role is a new position as a result of exciting business growth. You will be fully trained to provide administrative and resourcing support to a small and successful team that specialises in recruitment within the construction industry. This is a busy and varied role where no two days will be the same!
Daily duties of the Trainee Recruitment Administrator will include:
- Learning about recruitment, the construction industry, clients and jobs
- Completing accurate ID and reference checks
- Tracking and storing candidates’ paperwork, ensuring the correct documents are received
- Placing adverts and eventually writing adverts to place on job boards and social media
- Monitoring and collating applications, and forwarding these to the team for consideration
- Progressing into sourcing and rejecting candidates through outbound calls and emails
- Answering the telephone in a professional manner, forwarding calls and taking messages
- Logging all activity on an internal database
- Working to agreed activity, quality and compliance targets
Due to the nature of this Trainee Recruitment Administrator role, no previous experience is necessary – the position will evolve with you! However, you will be representing the company so should be professional, with strong attention to detail, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your own workload. You should also be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
