This Trainee Recruitment Consultant role is a new position as a result of exciting business growth. Working as part of a small and successful team that specialises in recruitment within the construction industry, you will be fully trained in all areas of the varied and fast-paced world of recruitment!
Daily duties of the Trainee Recruitment Consultant will include:
- Meeting existing clients and keeping in touch through regular telephone/email contact
- Identifying potential new clients through proactive lead generation and outbound sales calls
- Securing business and agreeing terms and conditions
- Dealing with clients’ staffing requests and taking full details of their requirements
- Placing adverts on job boards and social media channels to attract new candidates
- Registering new and matching existing candidates, ensuring they are suitable
- Booking interviews and managing feedback
- Logging all activity on an internal database
- Working to agreed quality, fulfilment and sales targets
Due to the nature of this Trainee Recruitment Consultant role, no previous experience is necessary. However, you will be representing the company so should be professional, self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your own workload, and ambitious to achieve in what will be a target-driven environment. You should also be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
